上海历史博物馆探究之旅

终于又到了激动人心的总结性评估周。通过这几周对于“过去”这一主题的学习,孩子们已经摩拳擦掌,迫不及待地想要把所学内容展示出来。在教师的指导下,孩子们收集文字和图片资料,再通过小组合作的方式,4人一组制作时间轴。
 
Finally, it comes to the most exciting week of our inquiry cycle for unit 5--the making-conclusions week. By learning the theme for a few weeks, students are eager to show what they have learned. Guiding by the teachers, students collect information and pictures for their topic, and then they make the timeline in a group of four.
 
 
孩子们小组讨论制定了一个他们感兴趣的主题,每个孩子负责一部分内容,在家先独立查找,细致地了解了如食物、艺术、建筑、通讯等发展历史,到校后再组内分享和整合收集的资料。每组同学分工合作、勇于尝试、通力合作完成了一份完美的时间轴。最后,孩子们需要像电视里《国家宝藏》的主持人一样,向其他小组介绍自己的主题。这极大地锻炼了孩子们的沟通和演讲能力,孩子们也乐在其中。
 
Before taking actions, students discussed and confirmed a topic they are interested in. Each of them was in charge of a certain part. They surfed the internet and got more specific information about the history of food, art, architecture, communication, etc. They shared and integrated what they got and completed the timeline together in groups. After that, students did the presentation and introduced the topic like a host. This strongly strengthened their communication skills and they enjoyed it so much.
