本周,我们进入新的探究单元:共享地球。共享地球的主体有哪些?以及他们互相之间怎么影响?会带来什么后果?孩子们探讨并提出自己的问题,分享其他小组提出了什么问题?期待接下来的探究活动!
This week, we enter a new unit of inquiry: what are the main parts of a Shared earth? And how do they affect each other? What are the consequences? Children discuss and ask their own questions. What questions do other groups share? Looking forward to the following exploration activities

本周我们以小组的形式用画笔描绘了每一颗行星,用这样的方式结束了这一单元的学习,这样的学习方式真好玩!
Today we painted our balloon planets! We worked in groups to paint each planet of our Solar System the right colors, using what we learned this unit. So fun!

This week,we finished the solar system.Then we will learn more about human activities impact other living things.


Grade 3

追寻探险家的足迹,本周我们踏上了“探险之旅”,这是孩子们非常感兴趣的主题。他们的梦想是能够成为像麦哲伦一样的环球航行家;像张骞一样去发现新的商业线路;像徐霞客一样走遍全中国,描绘祖国的地貌地质……
This week we embarked on an “adventure trip” to pursue the footprints of explorers, a topic of great interest to children. Their dream is to become a global Voyager  like Magellan, to discover new business routes like Zhang Qian, to travel all over  China like Xu Xiake, and to depict the geomorphology and geology of the motherland.


探险就是旅行吗?孩子们用思维导图的方式分析了探险和旅行的相同点和不同点。原来探险不仅会有惊险还会有这么多新奇的发现。期待下周的“Finding out”!

Is exploration a journey? Children use mind mapping to analyze the similarities and differences between exploration and travel. The original expedition will not only have adventures, but also so many novel discoveries. Looking forward to “Finding out” next week!

Grade 4

UOI课上经济市场的探究,让我们了解到各类经济体系的持衡与发展趋势。
We explore the economic market in UOI class and understand the balance and development trend of various economic systems.

本周我们四年级的学生开启UOI新一单元的学习——我们如何组织自己。中心思想:市场上进行的贸易活动是为了满足人们的需求。导入环节从学生最熟悉的超市开始,通过思维导图的形式展示超市的物品种类,并用小报的形式分析人们是如何在不同的市场进行贸易活动的。
This week, our fourth graders started a new unit of UOI learning - how we organize  ourselves. Central idea: Trade activities in the market are to meet people's needs.  Starting from the supermarket which students are most familiar with, the introduction link  shows the variety of supermarket goods through mind map, and analyses how  people trade in different markets in the form of tabloids.
